FAVORITE INSTAGRAM QUOTES FROM 2016 I CARRY TO 2017

I've discovered a lot of beautiful quotes on Instagram last year. This post would be too long if I were to share them all. This is the reason why I'll share a few favorites, the ones that came to me at the right moment:

My personal favorite for 2016 is from @memyquoteand_i because it spoke to me personally. I was reluctant to pursue blogging because there are already thousands of beauty and inspirational blogs on the web; did I really need to create one? But this quote reminded me I have indeed a place on this planet, with EVERYTHING that I have to offer, even if it’s just another blog:

Translation of the quote: do not hesitate to create something just because you think there are already too many. If the universe has room for you, there will be room for your creations too.

Translation of caption: when you were born, did someone come to you and said ‘sorry, there’s no more place, go back where you came from.’? No. It’s because the world was waiting for you, you and all that you had to offer. It was waiting for YOU. Contrary to what you might think, all the positions/jobs that you dream of are not all taken. There is room for you. No, there will never be enough singers, writers, actors, physicians, etc. There will always be room for you. There are things that are waiting to be innovated by you in the field that you love. There is enough money for everyone to become rich, enough melody to create an infinite amount of songs, enough paper waiting for you to write your stories. There is enough for everyone. A content creator is never bored. In fact, there’s actually studies stating that boredom is conducive to being creative.

I’m not sure where I got this quote, but I relate to it personally as I’ve always been the type to cheer people on in their accomplishment, as long as they’re doing something that fulfills them and helping their community at the same time.

Like I said in my caption when I reposted this quote “You and GOD make the majority.” If you’re not succeeding, it’s no one’s fault but your own. I love this quote because it teaches responsibility and accountability.

“Keep building”
I posted this literally right after I’ve watched a commercial of Lego. It was an encouraging reminder to do even the simplest, smallest tasks toward accomplishing your dreams.

This IG page has become one of my favorite pages for inspiration and encouragement. I love this quote because it reminded me if the moment I’m going through is tough, it’s because God trusted me to go through it with my faith intact and succeed in accomplishing His intent.

“To achieve the incredible, you have to attempt the impossible.” Darren Hardy through @thezigziglar

Zig Ziglar is another favorite on Instagram. This quote is self-explanatory. If you want something you've never had, you have to try to do something you've never done before.

“Every next level of your life will demand a different you.” @thezigziglar
This quote is also very simple to understand. Every step in your personal growth journey will require you to abandon things that will be no longer serve you.

“Imagine us waiting for 2017 and all of a sudden comes 2016 S.” @silkywraps

A good humor never hurts! I don’t believe this will happen, but you never know. We’ll determine if 2017 was indeed 2017 or 2016 S at the end of 2017 by analyzing the effort we put throughout the year.
