WASH DAY WITH NEW PRODUCTS - featuring Creme of Nature and Cantu

A few weeks ago I posted this picture on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Three of these products were used for the first time. There was one particular product for which I had high expectations, but I'll share my opinions about all three of them below:

CANTU SHEA BUTTER MOISTURIZING CREAM SHAMPOO.-

This shampoo is great for clarifying as it contains both SLS' and Cocamidopropyl Betaine. If I would compare it to a familiar shampoo it would be ORS's Cream Aloe Shampoo, meaning I could reach out for this shampoo if I ran out of ORS'. Its creamy consistency distributes evenly throughout my hair and easily gets rid of my dandruff. But it seems to leave me with tangled hair after each use. I'm still unsure about this product but it smells really good, it's not overpowering.

CREME OF NATURE ARGAN OIL INTENSIVE CONDITIONING TREATMENT.-

It's a great product! I was indeed surprised at how soft this product left my hair after deep conditioning, and it was as moisturized as if I had used my staple ORS Replenishing Conditioner. But then I noticed how firm it left my hair after the second use, only then did I look at the ingredients' list. The product doesn't contain as much oil as my staple deep conditioner, and it contains protein. It may not replace my staple deep conditioner, I can use it for my protein treatments every 4 weeks.

CREME OF NATURE ARGAN OIL LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER

The product for which I had great expectations! I'm glad to say those expectations were met! One of the best detangling sessions I've ever had after washing my hair when paired with Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum! Why? Because both contain similar ingredients that make detangling a breeze! It's a lightweight product, it sprays on with very fine mists and my hair doesn't stick on my rollers after a roller set. And it smells great! It's a great product to have, although I feel Creme of Nature's Straight from Eden leave-in conditioner is a bit lighter than this one (but detangles just as great). Honestly, I'm feeling conflicted because I just can't choose one over the other.

If you want to read my opinions on Cantu Shea Butter Grow Strong Strengthening Treatment, you can read it here.

They are overall great products. I can see the leave-in conditioner becoming a staple; it didn't disappoint! I'm glad to have tried them and discovered they are great options. I will keep you posted as to which one becomes a staple.
