MY EXPERIENCE: TRESEMME NATURALS NOURISHING MOISTURE SHAMPOO

For the past few months, I’ve been trying out new products, thinking outside the box. Two phrases I can’t seem to stop saying are “oh my gosh!” and “I’ve been missing out!” I’ve used both phrases this past Saturday night after cleansing my hair with the Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Shampoo!

The notions of cleansing conditioners, sulfate-free shampoos, 2-in-1 shampoos were getting too confusing for me. At the end of the day, I just needed a product that would moisturize my dry hair, especially with the winter coming. I had a few of Shoppers Drugmart points so I decided to buy the aforementioned shampoo with them, so I wouldn’t feel guilty about buying yet another hair product :) I was also able to buy the Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Heal and Seal Treatment – I haven’t looked up any reviews on this one, but I may write one after I try it out.

Anyway, I didn’t have any high expectations about this shampoo. For most products never live up to the hype, so I didn’t want to get excited over nothing.

I got into the shower after my hot oil treatment and rinsed the oil out. I was taken by surprise by the transparency of the shampoo - it's in a black bottle so you don't really know what to expect unless you open and pour out the content of the bottle. The smell was just so inviting, just like the conditioner when I was using it for the first time! Then I applied a generous amount of the shampoo on my hair. It didn't lather like the regular (clarifying) shampoos because it's low on sulfates. But the softness was real! I could've just used the shampoo alone without using ANY conditioner and my hair would have come out clean and soft! Yes, it is that good! Then I went on to deep condition with a reconstructing butter then use the Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner.

After adding my styling products (a liquid leave-in conditioner, a cream leave-in conditioner, and a heat protection serum), I set my hair on rollers and used the soft bonnet attachment on my blow dryer for 45 mns. I took down the rollers - the ends were not completely dry because my hair is getting longer already so I need bigger rollers -, massaged a little of olive oil on my scalp and applied a little on my hair... My hair was already soft without the oil, so the oil was just an added bonus. My hair is soft and has movement... I'm in love!

I definitely see this shampoo becoming a staple if it keeps giving me those results! By the way, I am one week post relaxer... if this shampoo passes the 6-week post relaxer test, meaning if if keeps my hair as soft as it is now at 6 weeks post relaxer, it will become a staple for sure :)

I love the Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Shampoo! Hopefully I still love it 6 weeks from now. Until the next update, have a great hair journey!
